It is perhaps one of the greatest of all ironies. How the scariest place on Earth can also be one of its most beautiful. Or was, I should say. It has been almost one week since the fighting stopped. The scene was nothing short of ghastly. Fifty years of untouched natural beauty. Fifty years of peaceful, rare, and endangered wildlife along the 38th Parallel. Gone. Just gone. And, worst of all, it was anticipated. Everyone knew that if war were to break out between the two powers, that it would start here. &
